| On 4 August 2011 Tony Dyke and Matthew Becker Partners at Curtis picked up and dusted off their golf clubs in an effort to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The Nick Mabelle Memorial Golf Day, which took place at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club, was organised and hosted by Rebecca Mabelle (Litigation Solicitor, Curtis) in conjunction with Lloyds TSB Commercial, Plymouth.
No sooner had the golf competition ended than the real fund-raising began. With the help of generous donations from local and regional businesses, sponsors and friends and family the charity raffle and auction, compèred by David Fitzgerald (TFB Communications Ltd).
The overall fund raising total is expected to reach in excess of £5,000.00 all of which will go to Cancer Research UK. |
